ICSA2016 promotes a Student Drawing Competition and an exhibition of selected artworks.
Free and open to students of Architecture, Art, Design and Engineering.
Focused on the depiction of built landscape.

1. Theme
Any kind of depiction based in architectural meanderings, city scapes or structures.
2. Eligibility
Open to all currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students of Architecture, Art, Design and Engineering.
3. Artwork requirements
Each student may submit a maximum of three drawings, in any techniques or style.
Maximum individual size of 29,7 cm x 42,0 cm(A3 format).
Submitted in a pdf, jpeg or png format with a minimum 300 dpi resolution.
4. Submission & deadline
Send personal information (name & institution) with artwork files by email to secretariat@icsa2016.com with subject line “IMAGINARY STRUCTURES”.
WeTransfer or Dropbox download links are accepted.
All items should be submitted until 23.00h (Portuguese Standard Time) on the 1st of July 2016.
No artworks will be accepted past the posted deadline.
5. Prizes
First prize. Original artwork from Mister Mourao.
Second prize. Signed limited edition print from Mister Mourao.
Third prize. Signed limited edition print from Mister Mourao.
All selected artworks will be exhibited during the 3rd International Conference on Structures and Architecture, at University of Minho, Guimarães, from 15-30 July 2016.
6. Copyright
Artwork must be the original creation of the student entering the competition.
The author retains all copyrights to their artwork without exception.
7. Usage Policy
The organization will print and exhibit the artworks with full credits to the authors.
ICSA2016 Conference reserves the right to photograph, reproduce, and use for display the artworks entered into the competition for marketing and publicity (in the website, newsletter, and among any other dissemination mean). All selected entries will be displayed on the art contest website. Each entry becomes part of the public, historical / archival online contest catalogue. It can be removed at a later date upon request.
Artworks will not be used for any other purpose.
